Escaping to England!

We rejoiced in the opportunity to escape to England with some of our favorite people in the heat of the Texas summer in August. The amazing and wonderful Redfern family took us with them on their family vacation! What an honor and a treat. They are my "second family" that I lived with in college as their nanny....and I've been stuck on them ever since. The kids have all surpassed my stature and now find joy in being able to carry and push me around instead. So my life lesson is ~ be careful what you do to small children, it comes back to you. There were 14 of us in all! Big families are the best.
Below you will see their cuteness hanging out near Tower Bridge.
Here's some favorite photos of everyone that was on our trip and some pretty spots in England:Ken played in the British Senior Amatuer Open in Saunton while Trent and Brenden caddied for him. We had wonderful tour guides and visited Windsor, Stratford, Oxford, Warwick, Stonehenge and a few small villages. We spent a lot of time touring London visiting the St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower of London, Speaker's Corner, Kensington Palace, Harrod's, Globe Theatre...and so much more!...yeah...uh....it was awesome...! An amazing trip and we were glad to make it back to the States safely because of the sudden terrorist issue.
